Fans have finally learned who’s a part of the new iteration of Danity Kane.

A few months after the girl group cryptically announced The Untold Chapter Tour in celebration of their 20th anniversary, Danity Kane came together for a show-stopping reunion on Tuesday at August Hall in San Francisco, where the group debuted as a trio featuring founding members Aubrey O’Day, Aundrea Fimbres and D. Woods.

The band formed in 2005 on Sean “Diddy” Combs’ MTV reality show, Making the Band 3, with Dawn Richard and Shannon Bex rounding out the quintet. Richard and Bex are not a part of this reunion.

O’Day, Fimbres, Richard and Bex reunited as a quartet for the first time in 2013, with Fimbres departing the group right before they put out their DK3 album in 2024. They were then a trio featuring O’Day, Richard and Bex, before disbanding again in 2014. The trio of O’Day, Richard and Bex also reunited to tour in 2018, with Bex departing in 2019 and Richard and O’Day departing in 2020.

Danity Kane performed beloved hits like ‘Damaged’ and ‘Show Stopper’

In clips of the recent performance shared on social media, including Danity Kane’s official Instagram account, the new trio of O’Day, Fimbres and D. Woodds sang beloved hits like 2006’s “Show Stopper” and 2008’s “Damaged.” The show also included footage of the new Danity Kane in what appeared to be leopard masks ahead of the trio performing in monochromatic outfits.

After the performance, the group shared its new lineup on X, formerly Twitter.

“Aundrea, Aubrey & D Woods welcome you to the Untold Chapter,” the post read.

Richard revealed she was unaware of the reunion in October

The new lineup wasn’t exactly a surprise to fans, as Richard already confirmed that she isn’t a part of the group’s reunion. In October, an eager fan shared a message speculating about Danity Kane’s new lineup.

Richard responded and revealed she had no idea the group was planning a comeback.

“I am not apart of this. I have not heard about it nor knew about it. sending everyone love,” she wrote with the brown heart hands emoji.

During the trio’s Tuesday performance, O’Day thanked Richard and Bex for their contributions to the group, telling attendees, “Danity Kane is always going to be us five.”

Danity Kane’s Untold Chapter Tour continues with performances in Los Angeles, Detroit, Philadelphia and New York before concluding on Dec. 22 in Sacramento, California.
